The Western Colorado Gardening Foundation’s (WCGF) mission is: To promote funding for public and not for profit horticultural projects, to promote water resource conservation, and to foster the successful and environmentally sound gardening practices that protect and beautify our environment in Western Colorado. The WCGF accepts grant applications in accordance with its articles and bylaws, grant making policies and procedures, and with the Internal Revenue Code as amended from time to time. The WCGF is a pass-through grant entity, accepting grant applications for horticultural and water-wise programs and activities. Grants generally range from $1,000 to $10,000.
GRANT APPLICATION PROCESS How to apply: Submit a one-page initial inquiry letter including organization’s mission statement, history, project purpose, total project cost and amount of funding requested. Inquiry letter must be on letterhead and also include the phone, fax, email and name of contact person. Selected applicants will then be requested to submit complete details. Attachments related to the application are then accepted.
